When discussing solar energy, we think about the pricing of the solar system and the subsidy scheme for solar panels. The Government of India has launched a power-saving scheme called Solar Roof Top Power Plant to save wealth for future generations. We all know the obvious reason for not using solar energy in the residential/commercial sector is its overall price. Therefore, realizing this problem, the Central Government launched the MNRE(Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Rooftop Solar Division) Solar Subsidy Scheme.
1 ) Download Sandesh App and register in the portal with your state, electricity distribution company (KSEB/BESCOM),electricity consumer number, mobile number & email.(as per the instruction in the portal)

Login with the consumer number and mobile number.

Wait for the feasibility approval from electricity distribution company (kSEB/BESCOM)

Once you get the feasibility install the plant by the installer

Once the plant installed submit the plant details and apply for the net meter to the distribution Company(KSEB/BESCOM).
6 )
After Installation of Net Meter and inspection by the Distribution Company they will generate commissioning certificate from portal.
7 )
Once you got the commissioning certificate submit the bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal. Subsidy will come to your account within 30-40 days after commissioning.
Residential solar installations are eligible for subsidy under the national solar rooftop subsidy scheme. Here customer has to choose a vendor who is participating in the national solar subsidy scheme and make installation using 100% Indian-manufactured Solar panels. The good news is unlike previous SOURA SOLAR SUBSIDY schemes, the new one allows customers to choose high-quality advanced MONO PERC half-cut solar panels of choice. Also, it is mandatory for the installers to provide 5 years of compulsory service for all solar plants. One can avail of solar project subsidy for home installation in Kerala up to 10kW. You need to register in MNRE NATIONAL SOLAR ROOFTOP SCHEME, process an application with the KSEB consumer number, the capacity of the solar plant, connected load, etc. Once they process the application, an intimation will be sent to your KSEB section. Then we can proceed with feasibility, registration, solar installation, and commissioning. Then after submitting the joint inspection report from KSEB along with bank details, you will get a subsidy in your bank account within 30-50 days.
